Dear Proctor Penguins and Families,
It was a wonderful week at Proctor and such a fun way to wrap it up! Many of our students joined Mr. Doherty for a special activity, while others took part in our Halloween Parade. Regardless of how students chose to celebrate, it was a joyful day for all. A big thank-you to the families who came out to cheer and wave. It was great seeing so many smiling faces!
Speaking of Halloween... Please remember that students should not share or swap food at school. Many children have food allergies, and we want to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. This includes Halloween candy and other special treats.
While we don’t specify what types of snacks families should send, we encourage choices that help students sustain energy and focus throughout the day. Snacks with a balance of carbohydrates, protein, and fiber can help students feel their best, while those high in sugar may cause quick bursts of energy followed by a drop in focus.
We recognize that every family’s circumstances are different and appreciate your efforts to send what works best for your child. Thank you for helping us keep all of our Penguins safe, healthy, and ready to learn! As a reminder, The Northborough Southborough Public Schools remains to free and dependable source for healthy meals. Please see the attached flyer for information about local food resources.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and for all you do to support our Proctor Penguins.
