Dear Proctor Penguins and Families,

We had a great Kindergarten Huddle last week, where our youngest Penguins taught us all about farm animals and the seasons of the year. It was such a fun experience for everyone, and I am pretty sure that “here we go, oh, oh, seasons of the year” is still stuck in all of our heads.

A big thank you to our PTO and all of the parent and caregiver volunteers who helped organize such a fun Spring Fair. It was a really special event for our students and families, and we appreciate all of the time and energy that went into making it happen.

We also completed four of six ELA MCAS sessions last week. Up next is Grade 3, who will finish their final session tomorrow and Tuesday. We will be in touch soon with a make up day for any students who were absent.

As always, thank you for your partnership and for being such an important part of our Proctor community. Together we live the Penguin Way by taking care of ourselves, each other, and our school.

This weekly newsletter will outline the following updates:
  • Save the Date
  • 26-27 placement info form
  • UniPay
  • Family Resources
  • PTO
  • NSPAC

Wishing everyone a great week ahead,

Respectfully,
Stacy Mahoney and the Proctor Team

2026-2027 Student Placement Feedback Form

Parents and caregivers of students currently in grades K–4 are invited to share input to support the class placement process by completing the following Google Form by Friday, April 24.

We value your perspective and appreciate any insights you can share about your child as a learner. This might include educational, medical, social, or emotional factors that you feel would be helpful for us to consider as we begin planning for next year.

As part of a thoughtful and balanced process, we are not able to accommodate requests for specific teachers or guarantee placement with friends. Our goal is to create classroom communities where all students feel supported, connected, and set up for success, and your input is one important part of that process.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Mahoney. Please also note that the information shared on this form will be reviewed by classroom teachers, as they are an important part of the placement process.

Thank you for your partnership and support.

Field Trip Payments Through UniPay

We are excited to continue offering field trip experiences for our students this spring. To help streamline the process, all field trip payments are completed through UniPay for all schools throughout the district.

How to access UniPay:
  • Visit the district website or HERE
  • Click on the UniPay link (often listed under Families or Quick Links)
  • Select Proctor School
  • Choose your child’s field trip from the list
  • Enter your child’s name and grade, then complete payment

If you have used UniPay before, you can log in with your existing account. If not, you can check out as a guest or create an account for future use.

Why we use UniPay:
Using UniPay helps us keep things organized, secure, and efficient. It allows us to:
  • Track payments accurately for each student
  • Reduce the need for cash or checks coming into school
  • Ensure funds are processed quickly so we can confirm trips and reservations
We know online systems can sometimes feel like an extra step, and we appreciate your support in helping us manage this process smoothly.

If you have any difficulty accessing UniPay or prefer an alternative option, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to help.
