Dear Proctor Penguins and Families,

As we wrap up another school year, I want to take a moment to thank our Proctor families for your partnership, support, and trust. It has been a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, laughter, and countless memorable moments.

For me personally, this newsletter marks the end of my time in Northborough Public Schools. While I am excited for the next chapter, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the Proctor community. Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us each day and for all of the ways you support our school.

I wish all of our students and families a summer filled with fun, adventure, relaxation, and time together. Congratulations to our fifth graders as they prepare for their next journey, and we look forward to welcoming Principal Harvey to Proctor and everyone else back in the fall.

Important Nursing Notes

We are almost there…just a few more days…but just a few reminders before our last day of school.

  1. You may pick up your child’s medication on or before 12:00 pm on the last day of school. All medications (except Epipens and Inhalers) not picked up during this time period will be thrown away. If you would like your child’s Epipen or inhaler to go home in your child’s backpack, please complete this google form: https://bit.ly/3PWNx31 

  1. Doctor’s orders for medications to be administered at school are only valid for one calendar school year. You will need to provide new medication orders in September. 

  1. If your child is participating in the district’s summer program, it is the parent’s responsibility  to pick up your child’s medication from your school nurse and bring them to the nurse covering the summer program. 

  1. For parents of Grade 3 students- The Massachusetts Department of Health requires that all children attending public schools have a health evaluation by a physician every three years. If your child will be having their annual physical exam over the summer, please send me a copy via email, dgage@nsboro.k12.ma.us, or to my confidential fax- 508-501-8827.

Northborough Extended Day Program (NEDP)

NEDP provides Before and After school care at the four elementary schools of Northborough: Lincoln Street School, Peaslee School, Proctor School, and Zeh School. Our programs are licensed by DESE and EEC.

NEDP follows the school calendar and also offers additional programs on some half days, full days off, as well as during February and April vacation weeks.

Registration for New Families begins May 1, 2026!!
